Akshay Almelkar

Akshay Almelkar is a seasoned professional currently serving as Vice President at SoFi since July 2020, with a track record of advancement from Director to Senior Director within the organization. Prior to SoFi, Akshay gained valuable experience at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from September 2015 to July 2018, holding positions as Consultant and Associate. Furthermore, Akshay held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Student Federal Credit Union at the University of Pennsylvania from December 2012 to February 2015. Academically, Akshay earned an MBA with a focus on Business Analytics and Entrepreneurial Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentrations in Finance, Statistics, and Marketing & Operations Management, along with a minor in Mathematics, from The Wharton School.
