Asraful Alom

Asraful Alom is a highly experienced software engineer with a diverse background in cloud computing and scalable applications. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at SoFi since November 2022, Asraful previously held the position of Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, focusing on the development of next-generation Fusion Apps Control Plane for enterprise suites. Prior experience includes a role as Software Engineer II at Microsoft, where Asraful built a high-performance commerce transaction platform for managing subscription lifecycles. Additional work experience encompasses positions at Discover Financial Services, Trustwave, Northwestern University, and Grameenphone Ltd. Asraful holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
