Dan Ang

Dan Ang is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance, currently serving as Senior Manager at SoFi since October 2019. Dan co-founded the non-profit organization Asians Are Strong in March 2021, focusing on the safety and empowerment of Asians and Pacific Islanders while combating anti-Asian hate. Previously, Dan held several key positions at Visa from August 2010 to April 2019, including Director of Strategic Risk in Enterprise Risk Management and Director of Technology Internal Audit, where responsibilities included performance of risk assessments and oversight of technology security post-acquisition. Earlier in the career at Deloitte & Touche from August 2007 to July 2010, Dan excelled as a Senior Consultant, managing client engagements and delivering comprehensive technical audits. Dan earned a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley, between 2003 and 2006.
