Daniel Dunkley is an experienced software engineering leader, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at SoFi since August 2017. In this role, Daniel has played a key part in shaping the strategy and culture of various teams, with notable contributions including fractional trading, margin trading, and options trading, as well as enhancing operational excellence within the Invest engineering group. Prior to SoFi, Daniel held various engineering roles at companies such as Verscend (Verisk Analytics) and GE Healthcare, where responsibilities included guiding teams in sound design patterns and developing complex management systems. Daniel’s technical expertise spans multiple areas, and academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
