David Bohm

David Bohm is the current Chief Compliance Officer at SoFi. David has also served as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at HamsaPay from November 2021 to October 2022, and as the Group Vice President, Strategy and Operations (People Process and Technology) at Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco from November 2018 to March 2021.

Bohm has been instrumental in leading risk and compliance initiatives at both HamsaPay and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. David has established all global and local policies for credit, AML/CFT, ops risk, etc. at HamsaPay, and has provided strategic insights to the Federal Reserve System governance for supervisory information and technology spending that has resulted in a 20% reduction in maintenance expense system-wide.

Bohm has also been responsible for overseeing the departments responsible for strategic planning, policy, budget and forecasting, professional learning, conflicts and ethics, supervisory operations, business technology, quality assurance, project management and communications for the Supervision and Credit function at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Under their leadership, the Supervision team has undergone a cultural transformation to become a more open and inclusive workplace.

Bohm is a highly effective administrator with a proven track record of successful risk and compliance management in both the private and public sector. David's experience will be invaluable in their current role at SoFi.

David Bohm attended California State University - East Bay, where they received their BA in Economics. David also completed a certificate program in Consumer Banking and Commercial Lending at CBA Graduate School of Retail Banking.

They are on a team with Tong Han - VP, Head of Collections Center for Excellence, Michael Tsung - VP, Fraud Prevention, and Ratinder Bedi - Chief Credit Officer. David Bohm reports to Aaron J. Webster, Chief Risk Officer.
