Pratyush Mechineni

Pratyush Mechineni has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and risk management. Pratyush started their career as a Business Analyst Intern at CSC in 2010. Pratyush then joined Deloitte in 2012 and held various roles, including Enterprise Risk Services Consultant, Senior Cyber Risk Services Consultant, and Cyber Risk Manager. In 2017, they joined SoFi as an Information Security Manager, focusing on Risk and Tech Compliance. Pratyush later became a Senior Manager in Information Security, specializing in Strategy, Risk, and Governance. In 2020, they joined Galileo Financial Technologies as a Security Engineering Manager. Currently, they work for SoFi as the Director of Cyber Security.

Pratyush Mechineni completed their B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology in 2008. Pratyush then pursued a Masters of Science degree in Information Technology Management at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2009 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Pratyush Mechineni obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in August 2016 and the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from the Cloud Security Alliance in May 2017. Pratyush also earned the SAP Certified Business Associate with SAP ERP 6.0 certification from SAP, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
