Sijia Liu is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in risk management and machine learning model development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Data Science at SoFi, Sijia oversees the development and deployment of models related to credit risk and fraud detection, while collaborating with business stakeholders to drive impactful initiatives. Prior roles include Vice President at Bank of the West, managing credit risk model development across retail and wholesale portfolios, and Senior Manager at Capital One, leading the creation of CCAR and Basel II models for credit card portfolios.
