William McClain

William McClain is a driven professional with extensive experience in compliance, entrepreneurship, and public service. Currently serving as a Compliance Intern at SoFi, William has successfully developed an Enterprise Regulation Library to enhance regulatory tracking and improve compliance risk assessments. As the Founder and Product Manager of Eng8, a web app promoting positive financial habits, William showcased strong abilities in user research and UI design. Previous roles include a Stanford in Government Fellowship at the City of San José, where William made recommendations for program efficiency, and an internship at Mindful Philanthropy, focusing on philanthropic investment analysis. Additionally, William founded The William McClain Youth Platform to enhance voter awareness and led customer service initiatives at Food Lion. William is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Management Science and Engineering with a focus on Finance and Decision at Stanford University.
