Kainat Ali

Kainat Ali is an experienced organizer and developer currently serving in a campus organizing role at the New York Civil Liberties Union since October 2018. This position involves compiling and analyzing data from student surveys to address civil rights and civil liberties issues affecting New York State college campuses. Previous roles include a youth program intern where data analysis focused on student sentiment regarding sex education resources in NYC high schools, and an organizing manager leading community engagement initiatives. Kainat has also interned as a web/mobile app developer at the Tech Incubator at Queens College, acquiring Python certification and developing websites and mobile applications. Kainat is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Cybersecurity at Baruch College, following education at the Academy of American Studies.
