Riikka Niemelä

Riikka Niemelä has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Riikka is currently working at Sofigate as an HR Business Partner, responsible for HR, Talent Management, and recruitment for the Platforms Business Unit. In their previous role at Deloitte Finland, they worked as an HR Business Partner for Enabling Areas, where they implemented HR strategies and provided HR services. Prior to that, Riikka held roles such as Senior HR Advisor and HR Advisor, where they were responsible for experienced hires and recruitment campaigns. Riikka also worked as an HR Business Partner for Internal Client Services and Financial Advisory at Deloitte Finland on an interim basis. Riikka started their career at Psycon Corporation, where they served as an Assistant Coordinator, responsible for team coordination and planning, as well as a Personal Assessment Assistant, organizing assessment days and running simulations.

Riikka Niemelä has a diverse education history spanning from high school to master's degree level. From 2004 to 2007, Riikka attended Kastelli High School, where they completed their high school education. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Lapland from 2007 to 2014, where they earned a bachelor's degree in social sciences with a focus on political sciences and applied psychology. Concurrently, Riikka also pursued a bachelor's degree in management and international business with minors in marketing and corporate law at the University of Oulu from 2010 to 2013.

Additionally, Riikka had the opportunity to be an exchange student at the University of Liège in 2009-2010, where they studied management, international relations, and French. Finally, Riikka completed their education by obtaining a master's degree in management and international business with a minor in accounting from the University of Oulu between 2013 and 2015.
