Cristina Pelizon

Cristina Pelizon is a seasoned professional in program and project management with extensive experience in the life sciences and publishing sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Associate and Program Manager at Sofinnova Partners since November 2023, Cristina previously held the position of Senior Project Manager at BiovelocITA from 2016 to 2023. Cristina's publishing expertise includes roles as Consultant in STM publishing (2013 - 2016), Head of Journals Editorial and Editor of Trends in Cell Biology at Elsevier (2002 - 2013), and Assistant Editor at BioMed Central (2002). Earlier experience includes a post-doctoral research position at the Wellcome/CRC Institute from 1998 to 2002. Cristina earned a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati di Trieste between 1993 and 1997.
