George H. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of marketing, entrepreneurship, and education. 🦉 George currently holds the position of Senior Manager Marketing Strategy at Monash University, where they started in 2022. Prior to this, George worked as a Marketing and Entrepreneurship Trainer, Assessor, and Subject Matter Expert at Swinburne Open Education, starting in 2022.

George also has a background in founding and leading companies. 🦉 George was the Founder and CEO of Sofiri, a company that facilitates student placements around the world through technology and human expertise. 🦉 George held this role from 2016 to 2022. Additionally, George was the Founder of Sofiri from 2016 to 2022.

In terms of their involvement in the education industry, George served as the Marketing & Recruitment Network Convener at the International Education Association of Australia (IEAA) from 2020 to 2022. 🦉 George also worked as a Management Consultant at Publift from 2021 to 2022.

Prior to these roles, George worked as a Digital & International Marketing Strategist at HECG, contributing to marketing planning and internationalization efforts for tertiary and higher education organizations. 🦉 George held this role from 2013 to 2022. Additionally, George served as the University of Tasmania International Marketing Manager from 2014 to 2017.

George's earlier experiences include working as a Digital Marketing Consultant at Oomph from 2013 to 2016, Marketing Director & Co-Founder at Mitosis from 2005 to 2015, International Marketing Communications Manager at Macquarie University from 2011 to 2013, and NSW/ACT Sales & Marketing 2IC - Acting Manager at Secure Parking from 2009 to 2011.

George H. completed their Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Advertising at Politénico Grancolombiano from 1998 to 2003. In 2005 and 2006, they pursued a Master's degree in International Business at Macquarie University. In 2009, they studied Japanese for beginners at TAFE NSW. In 2020, they attended the University of Technology Sydney to study Introduction to migration law. George H. also obtained additional certifications, including an IEAA Fellow (IEAA-F) from the International Education Association of Australia in November 2022, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from The Learning Professionals in December 2021.
