Nathan Lafrance - Berger

Nathan Lafrance-Berger is an accomplished engineering professional with a strong background in software development and leadership. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Sofistic.AI since February 2024, Nathan previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead in R&D at Coveo from September 2019 to February 2024. In this role, Nathan led the Service Core team in designing AI-driven products for customer service applications and built low-code/no-code tools for business users. Prior experience includes software development at Effenco, where Nathan modified a Debian Linux custom build and created real-time applications, and as a Junior Software Developer. Nathan started their career as a Sailing Instructor, teaching youth at the Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from McGill University, Nathan continues to demonstrate a commitment to leveraging technology for innovative solutions.
