Petar Ivanov

Petar Ivanov is an experienced IT professional with a career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a Senior DBA at Sofiyska voda since May 2012, Petar’s extensive background includes significant roles at BTC from May 1990 to December 2010, where responsibilities included Manager of Software Development, Software Architect, Scientific Sector Manager, and Head of the Department "Network Technologies." Prior experience encompasses chief expert and Manager of Computer Centre at the Central Institute for Mechanical Engineering – Sofia from January 1981 to May 1990, and a mathematician position at the Higher Military Institute of Medicine in 1980. Petar began a professional journey as a Programmer at the Central Institute of Computing from July 1977 to January 1980. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Mathematics from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridsky," attained from 1971 to 1976, along with secondary education from High School "Anastasia Dimitrova" - Pleven from 1968 to 1971.
