Prior to that, they obtained a BSBA degree in transportation and logistics from Northeastern University from 1990 to 1994. In 1986, John briefly attended the University of Parris Island where they studied military and strategic leadership. In addition to their formal education, John has obtained several certifications, including Certified LEAN Six Sigma and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from Aveta Business Solutions, as well as Certified Logistics Transportation and Distribution and Certified in Production and Inventory Management from APICS. Since Italian foods were not available in the Toledo area he would travel to Detroit to purchase cheese, salamis, pasta and bread. He would deliver these products to his customers from the back of a single truck. Antonio's son Joe joined his father's business after returning from the Service.
