Gvidas Makaras

Gvidas Makaras is a skilled data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and data analysis. Currently at SOFTETA since November 2024, Gvidas focuses on data science projects. Previously at Affecture from August 2022 to November 2024, Gvidas specialized in leveraging EEG data to enhance emotional recognition for video game developers, significantly contributing to a CNN model that achieved 90% accuracy. Gvidas also held various roles at JobTeaser from October 2020 to November 2023, including spearheading an advanced job classification model in collaboration with an external ML company and managing a large crawler system for job postings. Gvidas began a career as a chef at Vapiano from November 2017 to March 2020, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Project Management from Aalborg University, completed in 2021.
