Alejandra Perez Hernandez

Alejandra Perez is a dynamic professional with extensive experience in external affairs, public policy, and education. Currently serving as the Director of External Affairs at San Ysidro Health, Alejandra leads initiatives that integrate government affairs, communications, and strategic partnerships to promote community health and access. In addition, Alejandra has been an instructor at Metropolitan State University of Denver and the University of Denver, teaching courses on advanced integrative practice, social policy, and research methods. Previously, Alejandra excelled as the Government Relations Manager at Metropolitan State University, securing significant state funding, and as the Director of Public Policy at Cultivando, where comprehensive advocacy strategies were developed. Alejandra holds a Master's of Social Work with a focus on Macro Practice and Leadership from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
