Volodymyr Karpiv

Volodymyr Karpiv is an accomplished R&D professional with extensive experience in computer vision, machine learning, and energy management. Currently serving as R&D Director at SoftServe since May 2019, Volodymyr has held various progressive roles within the company, including Associate R&D Director and Senior Research Manager. Prior experience includes a position as R&D Engineer at PROPHESEE and an internship in Regulatory Affairs with the European Commission. Volodymyr has also completed research internships at EDF, Alstom Grid, and EIFFAGE, focusing on areas such as nuclear safety and sustainable development. Educational credentials include Engineering degrees from École Polytechnique and Mines Paris - PSL, a Master's degree in Technology Management from UCU Business School (LvBS), and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'.
