Yiliu Shen-Burke is an experienced professional with a diverse background in architecture, design, and finance. Currently serving as the Founder of Softspace Inc. since February 2018, Yiliu is focused on developing innovative tools for thought using virtual and augmented reality. Previously, Yiliu was a VR Research Resident at Studio Olafur Eliasson, contributing to groundbreaking virtual reality art and architecture projects from March 2016 to May 2017. Additionally, Yiliu was awarded the Zachary Watson Memorial Education Fund from Gray Area Foundation For The Arts in 2016 and played a key role in project management for a team selected to design the entrance pavilion for Design Miami in 2015. Earlier experience includes working as an investment analyst at Morgan Stanley, where global asset allocation modeling and funds research were key responsibilities. Yiliu holds a B.A. in Economics-Statistics from Columbia College, Columbia University, and pursued architectural studies at Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
