Magdalena Retman-Rakoczy

Magdalena Retman-Rakoczy began their work experience in 2011 at IMGW, where they served as a Specialist, Assistant Chief, and later as the Deputy Head of the Center for General Hydrological Services. In these roles, they gained experience in project management and general hydrological services.

In 2017, they transitioned to Software Mansion, first working as a Project Manager and later as the VP Project Delivery. As a Project Manager, they successfully coordinated cross-functional teams, facilitated Agile ceremonies, and managed project issues and risks. Magdalena also built and maintained relationships with clients. In their current role as VP Project Delivery, they are responsible for overseeing multiple teams simultaneously, preparing project reports and estimations, and suggesting new tools and processes to improve team and company performance.

Magdalena Retman-Rakoczy completed their education at various institutions and obtained certifications in different fields. Magdalena started their academic journey in 2006 at AGH University of Krakow, where they earned their Master's Degree in Environmental Protection in 2011. Additionally, between 2007 and 2010, they attended Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie and received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting, with a specialization in Financial Markets and Investment Consulting.

In terms of certifications, Magdalena Retman-Rakoczy obtained the following: AgilePM® Foundation from Agile Business Consortium in November 2019, Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org in February 2018, PRINCE2® Foundation from APMG International in July 2013, Manager and Internal Auditor of Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2005 standards from Dekra Industrial in June 2010, and PRINCE2®-Practitioner from APMG International in July 2013.
