Hanna Heikkinen

Hanna Heikkinen is a seasoned professional in the fields of IT management and research, currently serving as a Senior Service Manager at Software Point - LabVantage Nordics since August 2021. Concurrently, Hanna has held the position of IT Manager, senior data analyst, and team leader at the Helsinki Biobank, contributing to the establishment and development of data management infrastructure since its inception in 2015. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at Aalto University, where Hanna focused on constructing a cortical network model in the Visual Neuroscience research group, as well as research positions at both Aalto University School of Science and Helsinki University of Technology, specializing in retinal photoreceptors and biological signal analysis. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Science in Biophysics and a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from Aalto University School of Science and Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, respectively.
