Chris Mele is the Managing Partner and Software Pricing Strategist at Software Pricing Partners. Chris is also a Co-host of the DealersVoice podcast, which is syndicated in North America, Australia, and Europe.
Chris has over 20 years of experience in the software industry. Chris is the CEO and Co-founder of CompanionCabinet Software LLC, which they founded in January 2002. Chris and their team developed the award-winning, #1 Business Management/ERP solution in the remodeling industry and became strategic advisors to Home Depot and Lowe's.
They bootstrapped to significant angel funding, surviving the Dotcom bust and the financial meltdown of 2009. The team then re-architected from a client/server perpetual license model to a SaaS with subscription-based billing, becoming the first solution of its kind in their space.
Before launching to the cloud, they reached out to Software Pricing Partners and implemented Software Monetization as a discipline inside of their operation.
They launched many innovative first-of-their-kind products and services for their industry, including Momentum Digital Marketing, Spectrum and the 4M Sales Process, Equilibrium operational software, and the industry's #1 podcast: The Dealer's Voice.
Chris Mele has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Miami University.
