Pat Richards

Pat Richards has a diverse work experience in various roles within the cybersecurity and technology industry. Starting from 2013, they worked as a Learning Consultant at Cerner Corporation, where they were responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering learning solutions for clients. In 2015, they joined OrangePoint & Onspring as a Senior Consultant, where they led projects related to GRC program automation and implementation of software solutions. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Senior Manager and later as the Director of Professional Services at Onspring, leading teams to deliver exceptional results for clients. In 2021, they became the Director of Solutions at Onspring, where they focused on working with security professionals to optimize processes and achieve strategic goals. In 2023, Pat joined ARC Cybersecurity as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, and later moved to SOFTwarfare® as a Cyber Program Manager, overseeing multiple cybersecurity programs and projects. Throughout their career, Pat has demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pat Richards earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General from Benedictine College, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. In addition to their degree, Pat has obtained several certifications. Pat completed the Cerner Certified Training Program in April 2013 and recently obtained certifications in various cybersecurity topics from Coursera. These include "Sound the Alarm: Detection and Response" in July 2023, "Assets, Threats, and Vulnerabilities" in June 2023, "Tools of the Trade: Linux and SQL" in June 2023, "Connect and Protect: Networks and Network Security" in May 2023, "Foundations of Cybersecurity" in May 2023, and "Play It Safe: Manage Security Risks" in May 2023.
