Dr. Kendra identifies first, as a Black woman. The only child of parents in ministry, she is a fierce advocate of social justice and equity without walls. She is a second generation college student, committed to creating space for current students to bring their full selves into the learning environment. Her academic research and interests focus on the development of cultural competence in higher education professionals and implications for university communities. She holds a Ph.D. in Adult Learning and Organizational Leadership. As a learning and development professional, she specializes in the intersection of leadership and diversity, equity, and inclusion in communities and organizations.
