James Govan

Head of Sogeti, Ireland at Sogeti

James Govan is the current head of Sogeti, Ireland. Prior to this, they worked as a senior manager at BearingPoint from January 2006 to December 2013. In this role, they were responsible for enabling clients to meet their business goals through a variety of consulting and transformational engagements. James also established strong relationships with a portfolio of new and established corporate clients.

Before joining BearingPoint, James worked as a business manager at Computacenter from May 2001 to August 2005. During their time there, they established the company's first office in Northern Ireland and grew the local team and business significantly. James also built a network of senior client relationships across the private and public sector, engaging in a number of transformational engagements.

James started their career at Computacenter as an account manager in May 1998, before being promoted to business manager in May 2001.

James Govan has a B.Eng.Hons from Edinburgh Napier University in TIS, and is certified from MIT Sloan Executive Education in Organizational Design for Digital Transformation, Yale School of Management in Leadership Essentials, London Business School in Developing Strategy for Value Creation, Institute of Directors in Diploma in Company Directon, IMD Business School in Pricing Excellence, Open University Business School (OUBS) in Prince II Project Management, and London Business School in Professional Services: Next Generation Leadership.

James Govan reports to Stefan Ek, Head of Sogeti Global. They work with Frédéric Robin - Head of Sogeti, Luxembourg, Joost Ramaekers - Head of Sogeti, Netherlands, and Morten Løvstad - Head of Sogeti, Norway.
