Joni Taylor

Program Manager- Built Environment at Sydney Opera House

Joni Taylor is an accomplished program manager and curator with extensive experience in architecture, arts, and the built environment. Currently serving as Program Manager for the Built Environment at the Sydney Opera House since October 2021 and as Curator/Founder at the New Landscapes Institute since January 2015, Joni has successfully developed and delivered numerous exhibitions, events, and research initiatives. Prior roles include coordinating architecture and design programs at Sydney Living Museums, educating at UNSW, curating projects on Australia's Travelling Stock Routes, and co-founding Free Soil, an international collaboration focused on environmental transformation. Joni holds degrees in Art Theory and History and a Master's in Design (Research) in the Built Environment from COFA, UNSW.
