Kelly Geater

Kelly Geater is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public relations within the arts and entertainment sector. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at the Sydney Opera House since December 2022, Kelly leads external communications for notable performances, including the Australian premiere of Benjamin Millepied's Romeo & Juliet Suite and various world premieres. Prior to this role, Kelly worked with the Michael Cassel Group as a Production Publicist, collaborating on major productions such as Hamilton Australia and Mary Poppins. Additional experience includes a tenure at Elephant Publicity, where Kelly developed campaigns for prominent arts events in New Zealand, and roles at Noise PR and Organic Initiative, focusing on public relations in music and social media strategy, respectively. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies in Public Relations from Auckland University of Technology.
