Laila Severino

Laila Severino is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in safety management and human resources. Currently serving as HSEQ Manager at BGIS since September 2021 and as Safety Operations Manager at Sydney Opera House since January 2016, Laila ensures the delivery of safety services and maintains safety standards through effective team management and performance indicators. Previously, Laila worked at the State Transit Authority of NSW, where roles included Regional Safety Professional and Safety Graduate, focusing on safety targets and operational support. Laila's early experience includes roles as an Employment Consultant at MBC Employment Services and Human Resource Officer at Walton & Allan Properties. Laila holds a Master’s Degree and Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Wollongong, along with additional qualifications in workplace training and business/human resources.
