Haitham al-Sarmi

Haitham AL-Sarmi is an experienced professional in information security, currently serving as the Head of Information Security Operations at Sohar International since June 2022. Previously, Haitham held the position of Senior Manager of Information Security at Oman Arab Bank from October 2018 to June 2022, where responsibilities included managing the Security Operations Center and enhancing the Security Operations Framework. Prior to that, Haitham was the Assistant Manager of Information Security at National Life & General Insurance Company SAOG, focusing on IT asset security and risk management from August 2015 to October 2018. Haitham began a career in technology as a System Engineer at Travel City & Travel Point, handling various IT service desk issues in early 2015. Haitham holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Staffordshire University, earned between January 2011 and January 2015.
