Vikas Gupta

Vikas Gupta is a seasoned banking professional with over 28 years of experience in corporate banking and financial services. Currently serving as EVP and Head of Corporate Banking at Sohar International since March 2021, Vikas manages a team of over 50, overseeing client and revenue management, risk assessment, and deal management for various corporate sectors in Oman. Prior to this role, Vikas held significant positions at RBL Bank, including Regional Head for Corporate Solutions Group in North India, where responsibilities encompassed asset quality management during challenging economic times. Vikas's career also includes extensive experience at RBS International, where as Director and Team Head, multiple teams across North India and the UK were managed, focusing on corporate client relationships and complex financing solutions. Earlier roles at ABN AMRO Bank involved leadership in global transaction banking and cash management, contributing to product development and operational excellence. Vikas holds multiple master's degrees in finance and management from esteemed institutions.
