Tarek Takkoush

Tarek Takkoush began their work experience in 2020 as a Psychiatry Resident at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center, where they held the position until June 2021. In April 2022, they joined Embrace as a General Practitioner of The National Mental Health Emergency Response Mechanism. In May 2022, they also took on the role of Account Manager at Sohati.com.

Tarek Takkoush completed their education chronologically as follows:

From 2012 to 2015, they attended the University of Balamand and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist.

Following that, between 2016 and 2020, they pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Balamand, specializing in the field of Medicine.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Tarek Takkoush obtained two additional certifications. In November 2021, they were awarded the title of Doctor of Medicine by the Lebanese Order of Physicians. In May 2022, they completed the Mental Health Gap Action Programme (mhGAP) from the World Health Organization.
