Charlotte Read has a diverse and extensive work experience in the marketing and branding industry. Charlotte started their career as a Press & Buying Intern at Browns Fashion in 2008. Charlotte then worked as an Account Manager at Fight for Fashion before joining Propaganda Agency Ltd in 2010. At Propaganda, they served as an Account Manager and later as an Account Director, where they played a key role in transforming leading consumer brands such as Ann Summers, Tangle Teezer, and Illamasqua. In 2016, Charlotte became the Marketing Director at Illamasqua and successfully grew the brand into a global player. Charlotte then joined Portas as a Senior Client Director, working with well-known brands such as Westfield, Liberty, and Church's Footwear. In 2019, they joined kate spade new york as a Senior Brand Marketing Manager for Europe, where they developed and delivered brand and seasonal campaign plans. Currently, they serve as the Global Head of Marketing for Soho House Retail at Soho House & Co.

Charlotte Read completed their A Levels in Maths, History, and English Language & Literature at St Aidans Sixth Form in Harrogate from 2004 to 2006. Charlotte then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature at Queen Mary University of London, from 2006 to 2009.
