Alex Haiduc

Alex Haiduc has worked at two companies, starting with Daisy Group in 2013 as a Data Centre Operations Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for managing client relationships, installing service packs, performing hardware break-fixes, and providing technical support.

In 2016, Alex joined Sohonet as a Network Support Engineer. Alex'sresponsibilities included configuring and monitoring firewalls, implementing firewall migrations, and working with the engineering team to build custom network solutions. Alex also had experience with LAN networking, IP addressing, and optical solutions.

Alex later advanced to the role of Senior Network Operations Engineer at Sohonet, where they continued to utilize their skills in networking and troubleshooting. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Technical Operations and Production Services at Sohonet, taking charge of overall technical operations.

Throughout their work experience, Alex has proven himself to be knowledgeable and capable in various technical responsibilities within the data centre and network support fields.

Alex Haiduc obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca between 2006 and 2010. Prior to that, Alex attended National College Silvania "Zalau" from 2002 to 2006, where they studied Mathematics and Informatics. Additionally, Alex has obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Windows Server 2008, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuration, and Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuration.
