Sameera Bandara is a skilled civil engineer with extensive experience in the construction industry. Currently serving as a civil engineer at Soil and Land Use Technology since February 2020, Sameera leads a team of 17 technicians on the Purple Line Light Rail construction project, focusing on effective communication and project coordination. Previously, Sameera worked at the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau from October 2012 to February 2020, with roles in structural design and planning/monitoring, utilizing advanced analysis tools and Primavera (P6) for project management. Sameera began professional career as a site engineer at ICC in mid-2012, following the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, where education was pursued from 2008 to 2012, along with earlier education at Ranabima Royal College.
