Rainer Lutz

Rainer Lutz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as the General Manager for the Business Unit Automotive SOI at SOITEC, Rainer leads a multicultural team and oversees P&L, strategy, business development, and product management. Rainer has also held influential roles such as a member of the Board of Directors at the Car Connectivity Consortium, Chair of the Automotive SIG at the NFC Forum, and various leadership positions at NXP Semiconductors focusing on automotive NFC and secure elements. Rainer's earlier experience includes roles at Philips, Vivendi Universal, and Siemens, complemented by a strong academic background with degrees in Engineering and Philosophy from various prestigious institutions.
