Paul started their career as an associate at Cooley Godward, a law firm, where they worked for four years. Paul then became the Director of Corporate Development at IGN, a video game news website, where they worked for two years. In 2001, they joined Yahoo! Inc. as VP & Associate General Counsel, and they stayed there for ten years. During their time at Yahoo!, they were responsible for the company's expansion into new customer bases and new channels, including mobile, search, and email. Paul also led the successful IPO process that raised $250M for the company.

In 2010, they left Yahoo! to join Criteo as SVP Corporate Development. At Criteo, they completed six acquisitions totaling over $300M, helping the company become a global advertising technology leader. Paul also negotiated an exclusive partnership with Yahoo! Japan that gave Criteo access to Yahoo! Japan's display inventory. In 2017, they left Criteo to join Sojern as SVP Corporate Development And General Counsel.

Paul Huie has a JD from Stanford Law School and a B.B.A. in finance from Loyola University Chicago.
