Bob Sabath has held various roles throughout their work experience. Bob started their career at Resource Match Inc., where they served as the Vice President for twenty years. During their time there, they focused on independent software development using various platforms such as Cold Fusion, ASP. NET, Wordpress, and Drupal. In 2007, they joined Sojourners Magazine as the Director of Web and Digital Technology. Bob later became a Staff member at Friends of Silence in 2011 and a Retreat Staff member at Rolling Ridge Study Retreat Community in 2001. Additionally, they served as a Partner at Still Point Retreat Management and the Washington DC Regional Coordinator at Illuman DC Region, both in 2010.

Bob Sabath attended Baylor University from 1965 to 1970, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Bob then went on to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School from 1970 to 1975. During this time, they pursued a Master of Divinity degree with a focus on Biblical Languages.
