Mechanical Engineer at Solace Power

Maddison Osmond has a diverse range of work experience. In 2013, they worked as a Summer Day-camp Coordinator and Counselor at The C.L.B. Armoury, where they were later promoted to Camp Coordinator. In this role, they managed a team of six counselors, created schedules, organized events, and handled campers' fees. From 2014 to 2019, Maddison worked as a Grocery Clerk at Loblaw Companies Limited in various departments. In 2018, they served as a Maker Space Innovator at Holy Trinity High School. In 2018, Maddison also worked as a Mechanical Design Intern at MUN Med 3D. In 2019, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Student at the Canadian Coast Guard. From 2020 to 2021, Maddison worked at Solace Power as a Mechanical Engineering Student, where they designed mechanical components, managed 3D printing, and created operational manuals. In 2021, they transitioned to the role of Mechanical Engineer at Solace Power.

Maddison Osmond attended Mount Pearl Senior High School from 2013 to 2016. Maddison then proceeded to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2016 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Maddison obtained certifications to enhance their skill set. In December 2020, they became a Certified SolidWorks Professional through the SolidWorks Authorized Training Centre. Furthermore, in November 2017, they obtained Emergency First Aid certification from St Johns Ambulance.
