Samer Aldhaher

Samer Aldhaher has a diverse work experience in the field of power electronics engineering and research. Samer is currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer at Solace Power since February 2023. Prior to that, they were self-employed, working as a Power Electronics Engineer and 3D Graphics Designer.

From January 2021 to January 2023, Samer worked at Dyson as an Associate Principal Engineer. Before that, they worked at Solace Power as a Power Electronics Engineer from January 2019 to January 2020.

Samer has also contributed to academia, working as a Research Associate at Imperial College London from July 2014, where their research focused on designing DC/AC inverters and AC/DC rectifiers operating at ISM band frequencies. Samer completed their PhD at Cranfield University from September 2010 to March 2014, where they specialized in developing novel switched-mode electric circuit designs and control techniques for wireless power transfer and contactless power applications.

Samer Aldhaher obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Power Electronics from Cranfield University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014.
