Daniel Aiken

Daniel Aiken is an experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering, with a focus on photovoltaic technology. Currently serving as Senior Manager and Senior Director of R&D at SolAero by Rocket Lab since March 2014, Daniel Aiken is responsible for new product development and strategic technology planning for high efficiency multi-junction photovoltaic solutions. Previously, Daniel Aiken held the position of Solar Cell Product Line Manager at Emcore from September 2000 to March 2014, and worked as a Post Doctorate at Sandia National Laboratories from November 1998 to September 2000. Early career experience includes a research role at Astropower, Inc. from April 1997 to October 1998. Daniel Aiken earned a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
