Randy Amayo

Civil Engineer at SolAmerica Energy

Randy Amayo has gained work experience in various roles since 2012, including being a Stock Manager at Foot Action and a Direct Support Professional at Orange Grove. Randy also worked as a Residential Installer Intern at Outdoor Lighting Perspectives and an Engineering Tutor at Chattanooga State Community College. As an Engineer/Technical Specialist at AdTech Ceramics, Randy designed and developed equipment, interpreted drawings and blueprints, and generated control charts and reports. Randy was also a Civil Engineer Intern at both TeleCAD Wireless and Chattanooga Engineering Group where they developed site plans and designed stormwater collection and discharge structures, water mains, and gravity sewers. Randy's most recent role was as a Water Resources Engineer at WSP USA where they conducted site visits, facilitated project management, and prepared contract documents, among other things. Currently, Randy is a Civil Engineer at SolAmerica Energy.

Randy Amayo attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2012-2018, majoring in Civil Engineering. In September 2017, they obtained an AS9100D Internal Auditor certification from Eagle Group USA. Randy also earned a TN Level 1 Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control certification from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation in October 2017 and a TN Level 2 Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control certification from the same institution in December 2017. In November 2021, they received a Level 1A Erosion and Sediment Control Certified Personnel certification from the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission and a 40 Hour Hazwoper certification from OSHAcademy Safety and Health Training.
