Joseph Knapp

Joseph Knapp is a seasoned data analyst currently working at the Solano County Office of Education since September 2023, with previous experience as a Regional Manager and Specialist for the Microsoft TEALS Program at TEKsystems from June 2019 to September 2023. At TEKsystems, Joseph supported schools in Northern California and Wyoming in implementing Computer Science classes and maintained relationships with educators. Prior roles include teaching Computer Science and Math at Bentley School and being a founding computing teacher at Caliber: Beta Academy, where Joseph developed innovative curriculum and programs for students. Joseph's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Data Analytics and Policy from Johns Hopkins University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The City College of New York, and an Associate of Science in Information Technology from Dutchess Community College. Joseph also served in the United States Army from August 2004 to January 2008.
