Greg Scheuring

Greg Scheuring is an experienced metallurgical professional currently serving as Plant Metallurgist at Solar Atmospheres, Inc. since September 2019, where responsibilities include delivering metallurgical guidance, developing thermal processes, supervising mechanical testing, and conducting metallographic analysis. Prior experience includes roles at Allegheny & Tsingshan Stainless as Product Process Engineer, where process optimization and quality adherence were primary focuses, and at AK Steel Corporation as Product Metallurgist, overseeing AOD operations and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. Greg also held positions at ELLWOOD, Heraeus, and ME ELECMETAL, managing operations and addressing quality issues across various metallurgical processes. Greg holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
