Solar Chapter

Solar Chapter has become a platform for young adults to contribute to underdeveloped areas in Indonesia. Currently, we have more than 125 members from eight different universities in the United States, Australia, Canada, and Asia. By 2021, we’ve delivered water for 6 villages in NTT and have impacted the lives of 4,521 people. The villagers now can get water from the public faucets that are available maximum 5 minutes away from their houses. After providing water access, we built creative rooms and sanitation facilities for children, and also additional income for more than 40 housewives through creating a brand called Kain Makna for their woven products. Therefore, children and women can use the time that they used previously to obtain water to do more productive activities.
