Karsten Osberg

Karsten Osberg has had a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Karsten started their career as an Electronics Engineer at Sonion A/S (Microtronic A/S) in 1998, where they focused on machine design and construction of production equipment for hearing aids and mobile phones. Karsten worked on the production machines for plastic molding and assembly, utilizing PLCs, PCB designs, software programming, vision systems, servo systems, and pneumatics. Karsten remained with the company until 2002.

From 2002 to 2003, Karsten worked at Forsvaret as a Sergent and Section Head of Electronics. In this role, they were responsible for communication equipment, as well as providing electrical support for various military vehicles. Karsten also served as a teacher for communication equipment, weapons systems, and explosives.

In 2004, Karsten joined Regal as a Product Specialist, focusing on sales and support of PLC, HMI, and motion control in Denmark. Karsten handled product promotion and provided training on programming tools.

Karsten then moved on to Solar Danmark A/S in 2007, where they worked as a Sales Engineer. Karsten'sresponsibilities included account management, trade agreement negotiations, and the implementation of integrated workflow solutions for industrial customers. Karsten also had experience with e-procurement systems.

In 2014, Karsten transitioned to the role of Sales Specialist at Solar Danmark A/S, where they focused on promoting Schneider Electric Automation Components. Karsten handled various tasks, including stock management, pricing, project management, and after-sales support. Karsten also conducted training sessions on programming tools.

Karsten is currently employed at Solar Danmark A/S as the Global Market Development / Market Responsible - Industrial Automation, a role they took on in January 2020. Karsten'smain responsibilities include developing and expanding Solar's position within the global industrial automation market, while managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Karsten Osberg's education history includes a variety of qualifications in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. From 1998 to 2002, they attended ZBC (TSR Teknisk Skole Ringsted) and obtained a degree as an Electronics Engineer. Following this, from 2002 to 2003, they attended Hærens Logistikskole, Aalborg Kaserne, where they earned the degree of Sergent in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
