Sales Manager - Datacenter & Cabling at Solar Danmark

Tommy Jensen has over 30 years of work experience in various sales and account management roles. Tommy began their career as a Radio and TV Mechanic at Bang & Olufsen Center V. Støvring Radio & TV in 1990, and later moved to Bang & Olufsen Center V. 2Tal Hobro as a Radio and TV Mechanic. In 1996, they became a Sales Engineer at Tele & Data, distrikt nord- og midtjylland, before transitioning to the role of Sales Representative at Bureauet Randers, where they were responsible for evaluating and selling used commission boats.

In 1999, Tommy joined Solar A/S as an Account Manager, promoting and selling Cisco products. Tommy then became the Sales Manager for Solar Kommunikation og Sikring, overseeing sales and technical support for security technologies, network equipment, and data center solutions. Tommy later took on the role of Sales Manager for communication products, focusing on the sale of Cisco and TDC hosted IP telephony. Tommy was consistently recognized for their achievements, and Solar Danmark was named the Cisco distributor of the year multiple times during their tenure.

In 2015, Tommy moved to Caverion as a Sales Manager, responsible for sales in the Sydjylland and Fyn regions. Tommy then joined Atea Danmark in 2018 as a Key Account Manager, focusing on enterprise customers in the Vest region. After that, they joined Solar Danmark A/S as an Account Manager with a focus on data centers and cabling.

Throughout their career, Tommy has demonstrated strong sales and account management skills, deep knowledge of the IT industry, and the ability to deliver effective solutions to customers.

Tommy Jensen's education history begins in 1990 at Viborg tekniske skole where they studied Radio og TV mekaniker until 1993. In 1997, they attended Business Danmark and completed courses in salgsteknik, mødebooking, and økonomisk argumentation. In 2001, Tommy Jensen returned to Business Danmark for a degree in Key account management. In 2007, they enrolled in Business Danmark again for courses in Strategisk salg, effektiv forhandlingsteknik og forretningsudvikling. In 2011, they participated in the Solar GLP program, ledelse at People & Performance. Finally, in 2012, Tommy Jensen completed a degree in Projektledelse at Implement Consulting Group.
