Andres Varela

Andres Varela has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andres most recently worked at NRG Energy as the Director of Customer Operations starting in January 2021. Prior to that, they founded and authored for LNG LLC, a role they held from October 2020. Andres also worked as a Children's Book Author for LNG LLC from May 2013 to October 2020. Before their role at NRG Energy, Andres worked at Direct Energy in various positions. Andres served as the Director of Back Office Operations from March 2000 and held multiple roles such as Director of Complaints and Canadian Operations, Head of Complaints, Director of Integration, Senior Manager Operations, Manager Operations, Supervisor Operations, and Call Center Team Leader.

Andres Varela holds a Bachelor's Degree in BA in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma. Andres also has an Operations Management Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General from Centennial College. Prior to that, Andres obtained an Associate's Degree in Engineering from Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley. Additionally, they are currently pursuing a Situational Leadership II Train the Trainer Qualification from The Ken Blanchard Companies, which they expect to obtain in 2023.
