Dave Desroberts

Dave DesRoberts has extensive work experience in the energy industry, primarily with NRG Energy. Dave started their career at NRG Energy in 1998 as a Plant Operations Manager at Bridgeport Energy. In 2008, they moved to NRG Energy and held the positions of Plant Manager and General Manager of the Oil & Gas Fleet. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Director of Gas Turbines at NRG Energy. Dave then progressed to become the Director of Outage Management from 2013 to 2018, followed by Senior Director of Budget/Outage and Work Management from 2018 to 2023. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President of Plant Operations at NRG Energy, starting in June 2022.

Dave DesRoberts obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Marine Engineering Technology from Maine Maritime Academy between 1990 and 1994. Dave later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Rochester Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2016.
