David Newman

David Newman is the Director of Engineering Operations for the OPUS College of Engineering at Marquette University. He also serves as the Director of Operations for the Engineering Materials and Structural Testing Laboratory. Mr. Newman has over 24 years of structural and materials testing experience.

He has taught courses in Civil Engineering Materials and Geotechnical Engineering at Marquette and has been an advisor to the student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers for over 18 years.

In his spare time, Dave is a father to a high school freshman, a terrible golfer, and a mediocre guitar player.
