Solar United Neighbors
Henry McKay currently serves as the Heartland Regional Director for Solar United Neighbors, leading initiatives across West Virginia, Ohio, Minnesota, Indiana, and Pennsylvania to promote rooftop solar adoption and energy rights. Previously, Henry held the position of Pennsylvania Program Director, focusing on accelerating distributed solar power adoption in Pennsylvania. Henry's earlier experience includes roles as Program Officer and Program Assistant at the Institute for Sustainable Communities, where responsibilities involved community climate resilience projects and management of a national network. Henry is a graduate of Cornell University with a Master of Public Administration, where notable achievements include the Leonard Adams Leadership Award and active involvement in student governance and research publications. Additional qualifications encompass consulting, data management, and performance tracking across various organizations, showcasing a strong commitment to sustainability and public policy.
